In the 18th century, Joseph de Fumel had work undertaken which changed this medieval castle forever. The terraces are listed in the supplementary inventory of historical monuments. From there, admire the French garden with its beds surrounded by a boxwood border and its central pond, but also the view of the plain and the Lot. Go down the path that encircles the castle and accesses the nature theatre and take the path of the baladoir to the village of Condat.

Originality
The castle town hall Fumel offers an impressive view over the Lot and its surroundings. French-style gardens are well furnished and maintained, it is a shame not to have been the exhibition on sundays. There is a very pleasant stroll!
