Castle in Feugarolles in a park near a wine property, its cellars welcome to discover quality vintages

Henri de Batz is an independent winegrower who, for more than 30 years, has been producing Buzet wines renowned for their strong personality... It would be tempting to say that they are in his image. Indeed, the name of Batz is not unknown to you: Charles de Batz is known to posterity as d'Artagnan, Henri is his great-grandfather.... In Feugarolles, the Château de Salles vineyard is located in the heart of the Buzet appellation. The château's cellars are open to you and here, you will find above all quality vintages, regularly distinguished by professionals. The Artagnan 2013 cuvée is one of the jewels of the crown, aged in barrels, this wine is exceptional. The 18th century Château de Salles, in the heart of its beautiful park, adjoins the 5 ha vineyard property. The first vines were planted in 1989 and 1994. The renovation of the cellars has made it possible to undertake traditional winemaking and the harvest is done by hand. To discover the 2012 vintage, gold medal in two competitions and of course Château de Salles in 2015 was also awarded the gold medal at the international wine competition of the Gilbert and Gaillard guide in 2018.

A découvrir donc ;-)
