The city of Castanet-Tolosan hosts three weekly markets. On Tuesday mornings, from 8am to 1pm, the "classic" market is held under the Lausanne market hall, right in the city centre, with its gourmet products and clothing. At the same place, but on Fridays from 3pm to 7.30pm, there is an organic farmers' market. Finally, the Fontanelles district also has its own market, the "green meadow market", which is held on Saturday mornings from 8am to 12:30pm on Avenue Pierre-Mendès-France.
