CARDEILHAC ARBORETUM
This arboretum gathers today about a hundred species of trees from all over the world with also a walking part.
Established in the Cardeilhac forest massif, this arboretum features a collection of around a hundred trees from all over the world, including a large number of oaks. Founded in 1913 as an experiment, it is organized as a formal garden and now covers thirteen hectares. Access is free all year round, but for information or a guided tour, head for the Maison de l'Arboretum. It hosts exhibitions, a nature bookshop and organizes numerous educational events.
