An association that saves and restores aircraft and has a beautiful collection, one of the largest in France.

Does aviation make you dream? For 40 years, Ailes Anciennes has been saving historic aircraft. On Saturdays, a volunteer will introduce you to some mythical aircraft: Breguet 941, Mirage IVP, MiG-21 "Fishbed"... or helicopters such as Eurocopter Écureuil or the atypical "flying banana", Piasecki H21! In 2023, the Falcon, the first twin-engine business jet developed by Dassault in 1963, will join the collection. Several times a year, cockpit days are organized to allow visitors to climb aboard these legendary aircraft.

An exceptional visit framed by true! These people have enormously of their time to restore planes that are sometimes in lamentable states. You would want to give them a hand!

Very interesting visit you discover known and less known equipment (see unknown). The guided tour by volunteers of the association enables you to become familiar with the history of the exposed equipment and anecdotes are often amusing. Some day it is possible to enter some equipment (especially the Caravelle)

The planes are states catering variable some leave restoration, others waiting their tower.

A visit has just make or family. An alternative or complement to tours of the Airbus factories.
