Museum housing a collection of documents and reproductions of various works of art

The most illustrious of Gascons, aka Charles de Batz de Castelmore, is better known as d'Artagnan. In Lupiac, the village of his birth, discover the true life of this emblematic character who left his family in 1613 to become captain of King Louis XIV's Musketeers. A collection of documents and reproductions of various artworks reveal the reality of the character made famous by Alexandre Dumas. An audio and visual tour, as well as a video, reveal d'Artagnan's life at court and in war, alongside that of the novel.

Nous l’avons visité en fin de saison, facile à trouver. Pas très grand mais beaucoup de choses à voir, tableaux, livres, tenues d’époque, film retraçant la vie de d’Artagnan.
À visiter si vous passez dans le Gers.
