After crossing a huge driveway lined with vineyards stretching as far as the eye can see (over a thousand hectares), a pretty Gascon mansion stands out in all its splendor: the Château du Tariquet. The Grassa family has owned it since 1912. They are one of the armagnac producers who have chosen to maintain the folle-blanche grape variety, the oldest in the region. It has been produced on this estate since 1683. They also successfully revived the Côte-de-Gascogne appellation in the 1980s, offering a range of high-quality whites at low prices.

This winegrowing estate welcomes you to a pleasant setting in Eauze, in the Gers department. The estate's first armagnacs date back to 1683, and since 1912, the Grassa-Artaud family has been producing top-quality wines and armagnacs. The estate was also one of the first to start producing white wine in Gascony in the 1980s. Every bottle produced here is the fruit of ancestral know-how, reflecting a commitment to quality. CLASSIC
Classic is Domaine Tariquet's historic wine, first produced in 1982. Initially made exclusively with Ugni blanc, the grape variety then grown on the estate for its Bas-Armagnacs, it has been able to renew itself through blends with other grape varieties, while remaining faithful to its origins. In its first vintage, Classic won a gold medal with congratulations from the jury in Montpellier. It won the same award the following two years. In 1987, it was voted "Wine of the Year" in London. This cuvée embodies the very spirit of Domaine Tariquet, which seeks freshness, crispness and dynamism in its white wines to make drinking them a pure moment of pleasure. Classic is available in 37.5 cl half-bottles, 75 cl bottles with cork or screw cap, 150 cl magnums, 3-liter and 6-liter large formats, and 3-liter BIBs. All these formats are vintage and contain the same quality of wine.
CONTRADICTION
Why "Contradiction"? Marselan, this little-known grape variety, created in 1961 as a cross between Cabernet Sauvignon and Grenache Noir, was originally planted in southeastern France and the Rhône Valley to produce high-yielding red wines and add color to blends. Domaine Tariquet went against the grain by planting this variety in Gascony in 1999, then choosing to grow it in low yields and make a rosé wine from it.

ENTRACTE
Entracte is an effervescent dry white wine. Its fine bubbles are naturally produced by a second fermentation in closed tanks, using the Charmat method, without the addition of CO2. The wine is then aged for six months on its lees. Entracte is a brut nature, zero dosage, with no added liqueur de dosage or liqueur d'expédition, a mixture of wine and sugar often used in the production of champagnes and sparkling wines. As the Côtes de Gascogne IGP denomination does not include sparkling wine in its specifications, Entracte is claimed in Comté Tolosan, a regional IGP covering 12 departments in south-western France, including the Gers . Like all the estate's wines and Bas-Armagnacs, Entracte is produced exclusively from grapes harvested on Domaine Tariquet vines.

MILLENNIUM 1993
This vintage Bas-Armagnac is made from Ugni blanc and Baco grapes harvested in 1993. Its degree is naturally high, as it is bottled at "full degree" to better express its power and specific qualities. It is a Bas-Armagnac that is both powerful and tender.

UGNI BLANC 10 YEARS
This Bas-Armagnac, made exclusively from the Ugni blanc grape variety, is a blend of several different age accounts, the youngest of which is 10 years old and therefore selected for classification.
