Events calendar Eauze

On the first Sunday in August, and even from Saturday onwards, the city of Eauze lives to the rhythm of comics through a festival that welcomes many renowned French and foreign authors every year. A key meeting place for lovers of quality bubbles, it attracts around 5,000 people and has become an essential event. In 2019, for the 28th anniversary of the festival, many confirmed artists and emerging talents will once again be present. The Festival will pay tribute to Tintin, which is celebrating its 90th anniversary this year.

The Feria d'Eauze maintains the tradition of bullfighting and Landes racing in an atmosphere enlivened by bandas and bodegas. Held every year on the first weekend in July, it's a not-to-be-missed event for festival-goers. Oyster sales, street food and concerts, a funfair, concerts, competitions and balls, and novilladas raise the festive tension, culminating on Sunday with the bullfight in the Nimeno II arena.
