LES BRUHASSES

This was our third visit to Les Bruhasses, and as usual we hated to leave. The beautiful, peaceful setting in a lovely forest surrounded by fields is just right for an escape from the troubles in the world. At only 2 kilometers from the town of Condom, getting to stores and restaurants is a quick drive. We have stayed in a room in the main house, with its grand staircase and charming decor, and in both of the comfortable apartments, which are in a separate area of the property. They are in a remodeled ancient stone cottage and are clean and well-appointed with everything we need for simple cooking. The beds are outstanding for a super comfortable sleep. Jean and Hélène are excellent hosts who make you feel like friends. Every evening they host an aperitif, either in the sumptuous living room of the main house, or, in good weather, on the wide terrace outside lined with roses. They thoughtfully engage the group of guests from all over in interesting conversation.|Hélène is a wealth of information about the Gers region, with its sweeping views and charming small towns. She will spend time with you and give you maps and routes and places to visit in this marvelous part of France. She also makes terrific muffins and French toast for breakfast.|This is truly one of the finest places we have ever stayed, and we'll always wish we could go back.

Amazing getaway near Condom, France. The rooms and grounds are incredible but what truly makes this a great experience is the hospitality from Helene and Jean. Helene’s cooking is superb and they thoughtfully help you plan your days in the area. Can’t wait to come back!

Nous sommes bien arrivés dans cette magnifique demeure pleine de charme chez Hélène et Jean Tout est là pour se détendre avec une suite spacieuse en duplex dans une des deux tours et la literie est neuve au top et aucun bruit vraiment...
Juste peut être une TV aurait été possible dans le salon du bas mais finalement c'était mieux comme ça pour se ressourcer.
Petits déjeuners copieux et confitures maison
Très jolie déco aussi et explications intéressants pour visiter les villages environnants.
Bref à recommander sans hésiter.

Mais que cet endroit est charmant. Magnifique demeure découverte au fond d’un beau parc arboré, chambre en duplex à l’extrémité de la bâtisse principale, parties communes authentiques et chaleureuses, notamment la magnifique salle à manger. hôtes formidablement accueillants. Le seul regret fut de n’y passer que le temps d’une nuit. Nous y retournerons, c’est certain. Merci aux maîtres des lieux ! |Accessoirement, c’est à peine à quelques minutes de Condom, et les tarifs sont très raisonnables

Un grand merci à Hélène et Jean pour leur accueil chaleureux ! Nous reviendrons certainement dans leur propriété si agréable à vivre.|Les bons conseils distillés par Hélène au delicieux petit déjeuner pour explorer la région et l apéritif proposé par Jean le soir en font un joli souvenir.
