An 8-hectare former quarry, witness to ancient limestone quarrying practices, a micro-museum with paintings, photos and objects
On the edge of the Causse and Ségala regions, this former quarry extends over an 8-hectare industrial complex. Today, thanks to the La Barrejaire association, this area, known as La Mélangeuse, has been rehabilitated to bear witness to ancient limestone extraction practices. Farmers used lime and limestone to fertilize their crops. The micro-museum features educational displays and will be gradually enriched with testimonials, photos, newspapers and objects.
