The signature Fabriqué en Aveyron was set up by the Departmental Council in 2008, with the aim of promoting the region's emblematic know-how and sectors. Awarded by an accreditation committee, composed of the departmental assembly, its economic agency Aveyron Ambition Attractivité and the consular chambers, it encourages local consumption with an activist punchline: "Our choices are our jobs". This shared brand is based on several pillars: actor and manufacturer; terroir and naturality; values and community; tradition and openness. Labelled companies, producers and craftsmen in the fields of agri-food, wood, construction, mechanics, textiles, leather, publishing or the Web are thus committed to highlighting Aveyron's assets. A territory where the quality of life and the diversity of the terroirs, the authenticity, the simplicity, the traditions as well as the new technologies, as well as the creative richness of the people are particularly evident. Today, 360 companies hold this local identity, for a total of 3,000 product references bearing the label Made in Aveyron.
