ROSARY TOUR
A tower that was once the bell tower of the Benedictine convent and is the last vestige of Agen's second city wall.
Located close to Saint-Caprais Cathedral, this listed tower is the last vestige of Agen's second city wall. In the Middle Ages, the city was surrounded by fortifications. The tower has been preserved because it served as a bell tower for the Benedictine convent, which was demolished after the French Revolution. Transformed into a prison in 1815, it was abandoned for a long time before finally being restored. Today, it houses an architectural practice. This building is a must-see on your walk.
