Since 1878, in Le Cayrol, the Cistercian nuns of the Abbaye de Bonneval have been producing high-quality handmade chocolate, made the old-fashioned way from pure butter cocoa paste and crushed hazelnut praline. Their range includes tablets, rochers, malakoffs, bâtons, cream chocolates, orangettes and their famous liqueur chocolate bottles. The chocolate factory has been awarded the Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant (Living Heritage Company) label. Online ordering available.
