This church built at the end of the 14th century houses medieval discoidal steles.

Built at the end of the 14th century, this church replaced that of Saint-Christol, which had become too small. Partly dug into the rock, it was only later that its bell tower was rebuilt as it appears today. Inside, you can see medieval discoidal steles. These engraved stones are numerous on the Larzac and are the subject of studies, notably by Robert Aussibal, who was a specialist in the subject and who devoted several books to them. Recently embellished, the church contains gilded artworks and beautiful stained glass windows.

A very cute church with a former cemetery where you can discover some of the remaining tombstones.

Au coeur du village, la petite église du village est un peu surélevé. On y accède par un très vieux escalier en pierre. L'église jouxte un petit cimetière avec de jolies pierres avec des croix.

Je n'ai pas pût aller visiter l'église Saint -Christophe, car je suis handicapée et je me déplace en scooter électrique handicap. Il y a beaucoup trop de marches pour monter jusqu'à l'église, je suis restée en bas pendant que mon mari et ma fille la visitait.
Sa serait bien de faire une rampe pour les personnes handicapés. Merci
