This feudal castle was built in the 10th century on a rocky outcrop that offers an incomparable view of the Rougier de Camarès

This well-preserved 10th-century feudal castle, restored by volunteers from the Amis du Château association, offers a remarkable panoramic view over the Rougier plain and has retained its original medieval layout. You'll discover burials from the early Middle Ages, beautiful vaulted Romanesque rooms, a spiral staircase, furniture to recreate a lived-in atmosphere... The village around the château (school, workshops, etc.) has been reconstructed as it was in the early 20th century. An insight into rural life.

Интересное место. Старое шато, со старинными гобеленами, сохранена обстановка, раритетные вещи, мебель, комнаты. Показана жизнь французской деревни и сохранены все постройки тех времен.

Visite à ne pas manquer ! Le château, le village, ses maisons et les ateliers d'artisans reconstituant la vie d'autrefois dans la campagne aveyronnaise, les 1ères machines agricoles - en état de marche le jour de notre visite ! -, ... Le presbytère est aménagé en gîte pour passer plusieurs jours et prolonger en randonnant dans le Colorado aveyronnais (ne surtout pas rater le cœur du rougier)
