Natural circus with a botanical path of Bozouls, a large canyon in the shape of a horseshoe with a diameter of 400 m and a depth of 100 m
A large horseshoe-shaped canyon, a geological feature to which Bozouls owes its reputation, this natural cirque 400 m in diameter and 100 m deep was carved out of the limestone by the Dourdou. Go down into the cirque by the rue de l'Hospitalet which leads to the old bridge, the houses nestled at the foot of the wall are for some old water mills. In this canyon, you come across a waterfall, the Gourg d'Enfer spring, and the Grotte des Anglais. A botanical trail reveals, in the summer season, more than a hundred plant species.

On a donné à ce site naturel, le nom de trou de BOZOULS et le spectacle est surprenant. C'est un cirque de 400 mètres de diamètre qui surplombe des falaises ocres, les méandres du DOURDOU. Sur le promontoire est construite une jolie petite église romane.
