Spinning, weaving, knitting, finishing, dyeing, horn combing, such are the different departments of this museum installed in an old cloth factory. This Textile and Horn Comb Museum tells us the story of these two traditional activities in the Pays d'Olmes. The visitor will discover the reconstitution of a mountain spinning mill of the beginning of the 19th century, old machines as well as the work of the jet, the horn comb and documents on the working memory.

Quant à la partie textile, ce sont les vestiges d'une époque où ces industries proches de l'artisanat n'étaient pas encore délocalisées... On a presque l'impression que les machines vont démarrer... et produire ces textiles de qualité qu'on apprécie !
A voir, pour savoir, et pour la mémoire d'un temps révolu !
A signaler, parce que rare : Si les maîtres sont propres, ils peuvent faire la visite avec leur compagnon à 4 pattes ! Cool !
