Restaurant with terrace offering refined dishes in the tradition in Seignosse.
Perfectly located just a few meters from the beach, La Cantine du Oyes is well worth a visit. Compliments go to the young team in place: chef Benoît and those busy in the dining room and on the terrace. With a sound background, people come here for brunch as early as breakfast. At lunchtime, the promising lunch menu is sure to make you want to come back in the evening. The dishes are rather refined, more or less in keeping with tradition, but above all in tune with the times (mussels from Oyes, shrimp roll, Landaise trout...). Very tasty!

repas copieux et plutôt fins, une bonne surprise comparé au reste des resto du Penon plutôt orientés fastfood.

Nous sortons du restaurant : les frites étaient bien trop cuites et les chipirons à la plancha tièdes (comment est-ce possible ?). Sans compter un service très ordinaire...
Il y avait peu de clients pour excuser ce repas. Bref, à éviter !

Je choisis la friture en plat principal ; on m'apporte une poignée de friture sans aucun accompagnement. C'est la première fois de toute ma vie que je vais dans un restaurant et que je me retrouve avec si peu à manger sans même un peu de légumes ou de riz ou quelque chose pour accompagner 4 petits poissons qui se courrent après. C'est la première fois que je sors d'un restaurant en ayant faim.
En plus on avait demandé 2 verres de rosé, qu'on a jamais eu....
Mon mari voulait y retouner. Hors de question....
Je n'y remettrais plus les pieds....
