The spring where Louis Bouloumié first discovered Vittel water

Vittel is distinguished by its typical architecture and its unmissable places like this spring. It was here that Louis Bouloumié found the first water to emerge from Vittel. This ferruginous spring was named after its virtue of curing young girls with anaemia. The aedicula housing this spring and forming part of the thermal infrastructure was built in 1859. As the oldest vestige of Vittel's thermalism, the site is meticulously maintained.
