A beautiful waterfall for a family outing in Gérardmer.
The name of this waterfall seems to have its origins in a story about a bourrique belonging to a lord. According to legend, on his way home from a crusade, the lord was attacked one evening by bandits. It is said that the bourrique became so impetuous that, in saving its master, it rushed to the foot of the waterfall along with the attackers. This legendary anecdote adds a picturesque touch to the region. Situated at an altitude of 750 metres, the waterfall offers a pleasant family walk.

accessible depuis le lac en passant par la tour de Merelle (une bonne heure aller-retour de cet endroit). la rando est facile, la cascade agréable.

sympa a faire comme ballade , voir la cascade c'est sympa comme balade en famille le dimanche, on peut faire un grand tour dans les bois ausi

Une cascade bien agréable à découvrir lors d'un tour du lac à pied ou à vélo. Elle se situe au niveau du ruisseau de Mérelle, côté sud du Lac. A découvrir en même temps que la tour de Mérelle.
