A popular festival, it brings together dozens of floats accompanied by musical groups for a parade through the streets of Gérardmer.
Created in 1935, the Daffodil Festival is celebrated every two years. The event adorns the "Pearl of the Vosges" in yellow and green to complement the blue of the lake. It brings together dozens of floats accompanied by musical groups from all over the world for a grand parade through the streets of Gérardmer. This celebration is the fruit of the labors of volunteers and 1,500 local schoolchildren, who spend 3 days picking the yellow-colored meadows.

The Festival of the Jonquils gerardmer takes place in approximately every two years, in April blossoming period of the "jonquil". During the preparation of tanks, all day, each active in good mood and a super atmosphere. They are the children of the canton who harvest the jonquils during 3 days. It takes 350,000 flowers for the creation of a reservoir! Then the festival is a music festival by groups punctuated all the procession and dance crowds. It is a very friendly festival, and visually creations are impressive. With not lost if you go in the region!

the organisation has to see. During the last editions of 2013 we came family. The arrival took place without problem to leave the car parks is another business. We expect about 4 hours. parking the priority given to dozens of buses. In addition we were take care of all the names by young girl barely major because we ask finally able to leave when I had my beautiful pregnant daughter in the vehicle and more buses. All " organisateurs" to stop taking immature young people without supervision to manage locations of adults, that will avoid wasting all work that is made to make of this festival and to those who have just leave with a very bitter taste. Personally I would not return.
