DANSEROCHE

The Danseroche is a large sandstone rock located on the Epinal hills. This is the starting point for many walks such as the Princes or Saint-Antoine valley. This is where we came to dance until the th century, the second Sunday of lent. It was a sort of carnival marking the end of winter. During this feast, each or every one came with his partner that was assigned to him during another pagan feast called dônage.
