Magnificent, magical natural event for a suspended moment, walks on discovery trails and guided tours
From the beginning of November to the end of February, come and enjoy the breathtaking spectacle of the sandhill crane's migration. This grandiose and magical natural event offers spectators a moment of suspended animation. At 1.20m (one of Europe's largest birds) and with their grey, white and black plumage, the cranes take advantage of the Landes de Gascogne's quiet autumn season to concentrate their arrivals from Northern Europe and the Iberian Peninsula across the Pyrenees, to stay in their favorite wintering grounds, such as Arjuzanx. In addition to walks along the discovery trails, the Parc des Landes de Gascogne invites the curious to join guided tours of the Arjuzanx Nature Reserve, to observe the thousands of cranes taking to the skies at different times of the day from the 15-metre observation tower.

Tour du lac agréable, ce qui est dommage, c'est qu'on ne voit pas le plan d'eau quand on fait le tour, et très peu d'ombre.
