At 10 km from Ventron and accessible through a road through the forest, this hostel welcomes you on an exceptional site, a place taken up and operated since the beginning of the last century. Here you can find the traditional and friendly atmosphere of an authentic Vosges inn in a wooden decor. Here you can taste local specialities: Vosges salad, roasted bacon, home bowl, omelet, fumé smoked, or pie aux of Thatch (wine coq and vosges pie upon reservation) and brandy of mirabell. The terrace, which is well-exhibited, offers a fantastic view of the Vosges balloons, with the chance to admire a beautiful sunset, which does nothing to spoil the palate.

the inn offers a reception, a service (caterpillar) of quality and tremendously of kindness. The cuisine is a real regional cuisine with local products in a grandiose setting. The hotel part simple but very clean with several possibilities dormitories and rooms. I am in a hurry to come back.

Unforgettable new year snowshoes organised by Laurent and Severine, owners of the Inn. Organisation flawless, exceptional view, meal (exterior and the inn) genuine and warm like the owners. A place not to be missed!

Quantity is in the dishes, but quality really not... toffailles without taste, meat dry (cooked and reheated) and savoury, desserts uninteresting... the welcome is very average... I will prefer cheaper, less copious and better... Friendly hikers beware, sound isolation is poor in dormitories and long dancing... after midnight... in conclusion: I do not recommend this place!
