Casemate of Kilstett with dormitories and a drinking water supply, equipped with waterproof doors giving access to the shooting chambers

This casemate is a third line structure, known as the "villages", whose mission was to block the passage on the dirt roads linking Kilstett to the Rhine forest. After passing through a thick armored door that leads to an airlock, one enters the central corridor. There, an impressive fan doubled with a neutralization filter sucks the gases. Further on, one discovers the dormitories, the toilets, the drinking water supply and the access well to the watchtower. At the ends of the building, watertight doors give access to the shooting chambers.
