The trisomy 21 or Down syndrome is a congenital malformation. The person affected has an additional chromosome on the 21 st pair of chromosomes. The association was founded in 1987 thanks to the initiative of parents of children with a trisomie 21 and professionals. The tasks of the Association shall include: to inform the public about this disability, to help and advise parents in the direction (schooling, vocational training, maintenance in the ordinary environment…) of their children, organize cultural and sports trips to the acceding families… A nice accompaniment!
