The best pubs Metz

Since 1989, the Irish Pub, with its old school green frontage, has been delighting its regulars! This warm bar is a real institution in Metz. Here, relationships are easily established, in a relaxed atmosphere... A wide choice of draught beers on the menu, including the famous Guinness, Kilkenny and Mac Evan's. It's a real little piece of London that you'll find in this bar in the heart of Metz. On Rue du Palais, the Churchill is already a real eye-catcher, just by its name. Inside, a giant portrait of the famous Prime Minister, cigar in the mouth and gun in the hand like a gangster, welcomes you and sets the tone. Here the atmosphere is rock, retro, a bit rebellious and warm like in any good pub! The place is spacious but friendly and it fills up quickly on weekend evenings or during theme nights. There is a large choice of beers and cocktails but also something to eat and have fun (pool, darts, photo booth...). So let's paint the town red !

On the famous square, take a seat at La Malterie, an establishment halfway between a pub and a restaurant. The menu is rather classical with flammekueches, hot or cold plates, sandwiches, burgers, bowls, fish & chips... On the pub side, you'll find more than fifteen beers on draught and forty or so bottled references. And for spirits: a wide range of rums, cognacs and whiskies are on the menu. Don't forget to always drink in moderation, eh? The atmosphere of the Malterie is nice and the setting pleasant. On sunny days, the 80-seat terrace offers an air of vacation!
