On the soft side, this place is very popular with students (it is crowded from Thursday to Saturday evening), a happy-hour effect requires: The pint is at the price of half from 7 p. m. to 9 p. m. Since 1989, the Irish Pub, with its old school green frontage, has been delighting its regulars! This warm bar is a real institution in Metz. Sarah and Nicolas, a couple in life, started with an observation: too many everyday products come from the four corners of the world without any ethics. The coffee and chocolate are transported by sailboat to reduce the carbon footprint. Their hot chocolate made with pieces of melted dark chocolate is a delight! The items (cosmetics, stationery, decoration...) in the shop are produced in Europe by trusted partners. Workshops are also offered by local speakers...

A bar with a well-known gay-lesbian atmosphere of all the Rollers, L'Appart, this is the place where most LGBT of the city can be found at the beginning of the evening. The evening continues at the Place, adjacent friendly club where entry is free on Thursdays and Sundays, as well as until p. m. on Fridays and Saturdays. The entrance is 10 € on Friday, 12 € on Saturday. Little anecdote: The bar is located at an address where Paul Verlaine lived. Fun for who knows the manners of this author!
