Representative of the fortified churches of the department, this building, mixing Romanesque and Gothic, was raised in the 15th-16th centuries to integrate the fortifications and the refuge room above the nave. Bretèches protect the openings; on the first floor, a chimney allows for an extended siege. In 1912, the Saint-Rémy church was classified as a historical monument. It is now converted into a museographic space.
