A site sheltering migratory species, with a nautical leisure base, and offering many activities
This water sports leisure park, comprising over 1,000 ha of water and 250 ha of forest, is located on the borders of the Meuse, Meurthe-et-Moselle and Moselle departments. An expanse of calm water, it was created in 1965 and has been modernized over the years. For a day out or a vacation, the lake offers 42 km of shoreline and a wide range of activities: canoeing, catamaran, paddle, aquapark, horseback riding, golf, accrobranche (tree climbing) and rosalie rides. Activities all year round. Birdwatchers beware: the site is home to several species of migratory birds.

de la randonnée
depuis la butte du village d'Hattonchatel, ou de celle de Montsec, on aperçoit au loin ce lac aux rives très découpées . Il participe à la beauté du paysage. Mais on peut aussi en faire le tour sur un chemin de randonnée, apercevoir beaucoup d'oiseaux, et à la saison de la mirabelle, en acheter autant qu'on veut dans les environs

Beautiful lake, relatively well maintained, a good number of activities; I recently participated in the race So Mad organised on the site, very well managed in a friendly setting

Un beau lac, dont il est possible de faire le tour en VTT. De nombreuses activités possibles sur place (mais je déconseille la baignade, c'est très vaseux). Il y a un petit train gratuit, ce qui est très sympa pour les enfants, ou tout simplement lorsque l'on est fatigué pour retourner à la voiture ... Les installations ont été refaites récemment.
