Jean-Robert Ipousteguy was born in Dun-sur-Meuse. This sculptor, with his surrealist works and abrupt, tormented style, enjoys a worldwide reputation. Indeed, he is considered one of the greatest contemporary European sculptors. The cultural center opened its doors in 2001, and features ten sculptures and fifteen paintings by the artist. Temporary exhibitions also showcase other lesser-known talents.
