This church located on the hill of Sion has a huge tower of 45 m topped by a Virgin of 7 m and 8 tons
It took several periods to build this church on the hill of Sion. Work began in the 10th century. A huge 45-metre tower, topped by a 7-metre, 8-ton Virgin Mary (cast in the Vaucouleurs workshops), saw the light of day in 1870. It is one of Lorraine's largest pilgrimages, welcoming international religious communities and symbolizing Franco-German reconciliation. A magnificent monument steeped in history.

Très belle basilique havre de paix et le tour et magnifique dommage il avait un course ou un trail très bruyant après pour le magasin très dessus très chère avec beaucoup exagéreration j acheté souvent ou a chaque fois dans des basilique ou abbaye mais la non d accord qu ils ont besoin argent mais la non des chapelets le premier prix 9euro en plastique et le plus chère 80 euro en pierre franchement très dessus du magasin

Un peu décevant. L extérieur est joli mais l intérieur plutôt pauvre.
