Who would believe, while passing through this small town on the outskirts of Nancy, that Messein has a real little nautical paradise under surveillance from June to August? One hardly exaggerates, so diverse and attractive is the offer around this pond: canoes, pedal boats, dinghies, windsurfing boards can be either rented or tamed with the help of the French Sailing Federation. Who said it takes an ocean to learn how to tame the waves? On land there is no lack of entertainment either, with beach volleyball and pétanque courts and ping-pong tables. Finally, as a family, you can picnic in the area provided for this purpose. A host of other activities are also available: beach with lifeguard, camping, mountain bike rides, orienteering... And the water of the lake is regularly analyzed.
