Built in the middle of the 17th century and at the end of the 19th century, the cathedral of Notre-Dame de Dax is open every day. What can be seen inside and is worth a look? The ogival door known as the Apostles' door, a remnant of the former 13th century Gothic cathedral. You will also see beautiful paintings, including the one of Jesus and hisdisciples by Honthorst and the Adoration of the Shepherds by Hans Von Aachen. The best thing to do is to take a guided tour, as it is free on Thursdays at 4pm from April to October.

Open Monday to Saturday from 9am to 12pm and from 2:30pm to 7pm; Sunday from 9am to 12pm and from 4pm to 7pm. Guided tours (1h30) on Thursdays from May to October.

Magnifique et originale!!
A l'extérieur elle est imposante, à l'intérieur entre le portail des apotres (mis à l'intérieur pour le protéger) sa rotonde peinte, son orgue... on ne sait où donner de la tête
