LE DOMAINE DES EAUX BLEUS
An estate set in a superb wooded park in Liverdun, to be discovered on a guided tour organized by the tourist office.
Now owned by the Foundation of the Institution for Young Blind and Visually Impaired People of Nancy, housing an establishment and service of assistance through work (ESAT) installed in the former outbuildings, the Domaine des Eaux Bleues can only be discovered during guided tours organized by the tourist office. In the 19th century, this superb estate belonged to the Corbin family, famous patrons of the École de Nancy. Built and decorated by artists of this movement, the residence is located in the centre of a superb park planted with trees, once a game reserve for the lords of the past. Populated with rare species, the park is as amazing and magnificent as the house it protects. The guided tour consists of a historical outdoor tour of the estate and a visit to the Haut des Vannes workshops. Visits to the mulching, caning, basketry and white cane making workshops are also organised by the ESAT workers themselves. An amazing visit for a place that is just as amazing.
