On the outskirts of Nancy, a family estate from the outset, backed by an intact feudal keep dating back to 1320, Château de Fléville was completed during the Renaissance in 1533. Listed as a historic monument, the château offers a journey through time, from the Middle Ages to the present day. The tour includes the chapel of Santiago de Compostela, the hall of coats of arms of the Dukes of Lorraine, and the bedroom of King Stanislas. The park, classified as an outstanding garden, invites you to take a soothing stroll through the orangery and belvedere. A true escape in time.

Sur l’autoroute en direction de Nancy, j’ai aperçu un panonceau signalant un monument historique : le château de Fléville. Curieuse, j’ai décidé de faire un détour… et je ne le regrette pas !
La visite guidée a été très agréable, menée par une étudiante passionnée, qui, bien qu’elle ne connaisse peut-être pas encore le château depuis longtemps, maîtrise son sujet. Elle entre dans les détails, répond volontiers aux questions et rend la visite vivante.
Le château est bien entretenu, et j’éprouve une réelle solidarité envers les propriétaires : entretenir un tel édifice, de cette ampleur, demande des moyens considérables.
Les jardins sont à mon goût plus simples, mais restent charmants et propices à une belle promenade.
En résumé, une belle découverte que je referai avec plaisir si je repasse dans la région !
