Today, this castle looks like a beautiful Italian-style residence covered with Virginia creeper

This château was built around 1870 by the great-grandfather of the current owner, Emmanuel de Coutard. In 1975, the building was modified, and today resembles a fine Italian-style residence covered with Virginia creeper. The production of very old Armagnac from the baco plan is carried out in accordance with an ancestral family tradition focused on quality. The armagnacs are preserved in oak barrels handcrafted by one of the last Landes coopers. The oldest vintage dates back to 1974, and was awarded a gold medal!

Very pretty castle and very good Armagnac! Via the region, I bought 2 bottles of year 1974 27 years of barrel, gold medal 2007. However, it is necessary to call in advance to ensure the castle is open. The small more: I received good advise on places to visit in the region.
