The itinerary links the ornithological observatory of the pond, the leisure centre and the village of Bures. The classified reed bed is the natural habitat of the marsh harrier, purple heron, turd fox and bittern. In autumn, many shorebirds come to rest and feed on the pond. In winter, we observe great crested grebe, coot, teal, scaup and shoveler, goosander and magpie.
