This monumental mansion from 1874, located not far from the parish church, looks like a Renaissance castle! Moreover, it was built close to the former castle of the Lords of Bayon, which has now disappeared. The architectural codes of the Renaissance can be seen in the large mullioned windows, the slate roof, the finials and worked pediments, the corner turrets, the weathervanes and the use of red brick (which refers to the time of Louis XIII).
