ST. CANTIUS CHURCH

A church that was at the origin of the sale of a large part of the territorial property of the commune of Bougue, since it was necessary to find funds to enlarge it in 1830 when it became too small. The fortified bell of Saint-Candide dates back to the early church of the early th century. The walls, at their base and angles, reach a thickness of about three m; on the entrance facade, half-height, you can also see a series of stone modillons, as well as an original solar dial.
