HÔTEL-RESTAURANT LA MÉTÉORITE
Hotel-restaurant offering traditional cuisine made with local products.
It is a friendly establishment, in the image of its boss Daniel Novais. In this ancient building we serve traditional cuisine. Meat limousine, poultry and duck in the corner, organic vegetables. Thus, local products are often part and meat cooked exclusively limousines. 7 hour lamb, head of calf sauce ravigote, roasted quail with chestnut cream. In summer the two pleasant terraces are being stormed. The singing of small birds accompanies us cheerfully during the meal, we also appreciate attentive service, small rolls and selection of wines which only reserve good surprises. The Meteorite is also a hotel and bar that hosts blues, rock and jazz concerts on Fridays evenings. The rooms are nice and clean.
We make a stay in this hotel.
The restaurant: super, very good and very copious.
the small dej: ordinary.
the room: BOF, there is plenty of dust (especially in the headboard)
Broken floor and nails from floor exceeding, you feel the foot inside.
Towels are very worn, the soap put a day out of 2, of course in France is washed one day in two.
The casa baby cot is available free was without sheets, without cushion, with 2 iron bars has to offer daily that holds the bed, and the ragged wall.
Tap of broken radiator.
Despite the words, no commercial activity, finally mini which consisted in excluding my shandy replaced the wine from the menu. (see during the capture of the menu) and no effort has to spend the night in the evening...
Let us speak restoration: regional flavours mix in an incomparable originality and control. Charming, trendy, surprising, delicious gourmet cuisine... the wine list is remarkable.
Needless to break the head while checking the menu, all the recipes are intriguing worth a detour.
The setting is delightful, the welcome is very warm and sincere, guests are at your disposal and themselves into four to make your stay an indelible souvenir.
PS: remember to book as soon as possible because the hotel is often full.
