Restaurant with terrace in the heart of the Haute Lande offering oysters and duck products.
To be in the heart of the Haute Lande, will soon become more important, when you will have discovered near the church the charming house where Laurent Lespes put "his suitcases" or rather his know-how a few years ago ! The charm of the surrounding nature will still operate inside: a little rustic side, some professionally picked furniture, colourful, sometimes naive paintings, beautiful objects...And the plate? The local one is called "tchanquetta" because it is made of oysters and duck products. The Landaise plate remains a classic that is truly exceptional. Depending on the season, rabbit or pigeon will be on the menu, to be tasted rather close to the fireplace. The large room opens onto a shady terrace overlooking a meadow; it feels good and almost like home, a rare sensation in a restaurant. It must surely come from the front desk as well.
Cuisine simple, sans prétentions, mais genereuse (magret de canard entier ! Cuisson impeccable).
Personnel attentionné et souriant.
Un des seuls restaurants ouvert dans la région en hiver !
Le monsieur était tout seul, il a tout géré. Franchement bravo à lui.
On reviendra !!!!
