CHATEAU

The fort castle of Montaigut-le-Blanc is proudly perched on a motte motte above the village. It dates back to the th century and replaced a wooden castle. It was classified Historic monument in 1926. Today, its owners are visiting it by appointment. The castle, which is somewhat damaged by the years, is being renovated. From the austere dungeon visitors discover a panoramic view of the Gartempe valley.
