We have just stayed for 2 weeks at this site. Our own tent right on the side of the lake. It is a truly beautiful spot and a generally lovely site. Plenty of shade under the trees when the temperatures got up. We ate a couple of times at the restaurant on site and the food was very good and prompt and the staff friendly. This seemed to us to be a much quieter area in terms of tourist and there is lots to explore round about. Argentat is only a few minutes away and has good supermarkets.

Endroit très agréable, sanitaire manque de propreté faut il augmenter l’effectif du personnel, peut être indiqué au porte des douches qu’il existe des raclettes qui servent à nettoyer ça douche en sortant.que ces raclettes ne servent pas qu’au personnel d’entretien.le personnel du bar restaurant très agréable mais pour moi est en sous effectif.il nous a manqué sur le tronçon route, du camping au moins jusqu’au barrage une partie sécurise en vélo pour pouvoir aller à Argentat ville par la route D129 moins fréquente par les véhicules légers, camion et surtout moins dangereux pour des cyclistes qui voudraient se rendre à Argentat sans voiture.cordialement.
