The Musée Les Quatre Demoiselles in Saillac is a meeting place for nut and history lovers. Located in a former 17th-century priory for women, in the heart of the Noix du Périgord appellation d'origine contrôlée, the museum offers a 45-minute guided tour of the fascinating world of walnuts, followed by a visit to the treasure room. You can also dine in the bistro or store in the boutique. All this in a magnificent village, one of the birthplaces of the famous Marbot walnut, at the foot of the listed church.

J'ai trouvé beaucoup d'originalité dans la cuisine, avec des saveurs et des "consistances" très recherchées. Le lieu est très beau et très agréable, aussi bien dans le musée que dans l'espace restauration. Nous avons profité du lieu en déjeunant dehors devant l'église car il faisait très beau.

Nous avons mangé ce jour aux 4 demoiselles. Un bistrot musée où les saveurs sont à l'honneur. Du plat au dessert tout était original et bon! et une spéciale dédicace aux glaces et à la limonade artisanale. Cécile et Hélène nous ont accueilli avec nos enfants avec beaucoup de joie et de créativité, et la visite du musée était adaptée à nous 4! Un passage obligé dans la région.

Un musée de la noix où il y a à boire et à manger. Une muséographie très agréable, passionnante et instructive, et un bistrot-resto avec de la cuisine maison. Les salades sont très agréables par ces temps de grande chaleur !
