LE ROCHER DE VENTADOUR

30 km north-east of Tulle, 5 km east-south-east, facing the ruins of the castle of Ventadour, at the Cervière Rock. From Egletons take the D991 east-south-east towards Neuvic-d'Ussel for 6 km. After the sign indicating the ruins of the castle, take a road on the right and park at the beginning. It is called the Cervière rock. The approach takes 10 minutes, following the path for 500 m. This small climbing site close to Egletons has 16 routes from 10 to 12 metres varying in difficulty from 3 to 7a+. It is possible to get the topo-guide at the tourist office of Egletons.
