The former post office of Villefranche-de-Conflent has been transformed into a superb guest house. It is ideally located in the heart of the fortified village at the foot of Fort Liberia. You will enjoy the charm of a house with a soul, in which four spacious rooms with modern luxuries have been fitted out with jet shower, whirlpool bath and sauna. The decoration of the place is particularly successful. The new owner's hearty homemade breakfasts are a real treat. There are many walks in the vicinity.

We arrived shortly after 6PM
The door was locked and lights off.
I tried ringing the doorbell and I called the number on the website and left a message.
50 minutes later I missed the return call but by then we found a room in Prades.
If you take the chance to book here I would call or email to make sure you really are booked so you are not standing on the steps in the dark!
