Festival of great soloists performing classical and contemporary chamber music repertoire.

Founded in 1950 by the famous Catalan cellist Pablo Casals, the Prades Festival welcomes every year great soloists who perform the classical and contemporary chamber music repertoire. Concerts take place at the Abbey of Saint-Michel-de-Cuxa, the church of Saint-Pierre-de-Prades, the caves of Grandes Canalettes in Villefranche-de-Conflent and other venues. Since 2018, the festival has been exported every year to the Théâtre des Champs-Elysées in Paris. A real recognition for the city of Prades and especially an international festival.

Il est très étonnant qu'une petite ville comme Prades accueille un si beau festival de musique. La qualité des interprètes y est tous les ans de grande importance.
