This collection of coins and medals is the most important in Europe. The main collection is made up of coins, some of which are unique, from the 12th century to the present day, with almost 2,000 Catalan coins. Some ancient, Egyptian and feudal coins complete the collection. The museum also has a specialised library open by reservation. A very beautiful house, the work of the Danish architect Petersen. Its park has become a charming public garden.
