A hotel combining fin de siècle and Art Nouveau styles, worth seeing for the paintings by Paul Gervais on the grand staircase and the garden patio

This sumptuous mansion blends fin-de-siècle and Art Nouveau styles, incorporating symbols of the JOB brand and allegories of the Côte Vermeille. The grand staircase, adorned with paintings by Paul Gervais, and the lush patio-garden are well worth a visit. This architectural jewel and treasure of Perpignan's heritage was transformed between 1896 and 1902 by Jeanne Bardou and her husband Jules Pams (founder of JOB), with the architect Carlier. In 1946, Jules Pams' widow sold the house to the city of Perpignan. Visits are free and open to the public.
